Turner Cup 2018

Well done to club member Rupert Nute, in coming second in the Turner Cup, in a closely fought contest.   Format was a poule unique followed by DE.  Full results

Rupert now goes now to represent Wales, along with Turner Cup winner, Lionel De Swarte-Dank (Cardiff) at the National GB Cup finals - 23 June,David Ross Sports Centre, Nottingham University.

The Turner Cup, donated by former Welsh Fencing chairman, Bob Turner, was an intermediate epee competition, which ran until 2013, after which it was subsumed into the Welsh Championships. Read more ...
