Who's who in the Club

Club Secretary - Michael Clemitson - qualified BFA-registered Coach & Epée Referee. As well as this, Michael is also a Qualified Armourer - so he can fix your épée, if it goes wrong !

Senior-level Coach - Lyndon Martin - qualified BFA-registered Coach (épée, foil and sabre), a former Welsh Senior International fencer, Commonwealth medallist, and Welsh Epée Champion. Lyndon has been fencing for some 50 years, with over 25 years of coaching experience. In recognition of his service, Lyndon was made a Life Member of Welsh Fencing in 2020.

Assistant Secretary - Dave Lewis. A qualified BFA-registered Coach, who took up fencing in 2017.

Club Welfare Officer - Paul Stelb - a newcomer to fencing, who had retired from a lengthy career as a company director in advertising, marketing, and affinity publishing, and a contributor to military history features. Paul took over the role of Club Welfare Officer in 2020. Feel free to consult him In Confidence about any Welfare concerns you may have.
